Brian L. Mahaffey,
MD, MSPH
Dr.
Mahaffey is a fellowship-trained primary care/sports medicine specialist.
He completed his fellowship at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1998
after a family medicine residency there in 1996. He specializes in all
aspects of care for active people and athletes, including orthopedic care,
concussion management and management of activity related medical problems.
He serves as the director of sports medicine for St. John’s and as team
physician at Missouri State University. He is also a team physician for
the Springfield Cardinals. Dr. Mahaffey practices at St. John’s Sports Medicine and St.
John’s Clinic-Orthopedic Specialists.

Chris Farmer, MD, MSPH
Dr.
Farmer is a fellowship-trained primary care/sports medicine specialist. He
completed his sports medicine fellowship at the University of
Missouri-Columbia in 2005 following a family medicine residency there in
2003. He specializes in care of the athletic and active populations,
including non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, athletes
with acute or chronic illness, and injury prevention. He serves as a team
physician and orthopedist at Missouri State University and practices at
St. John’s Clinic-Nixa, St. John’s Sports Medicine and St. John’s Clinic-Orthopedic Specialists.

Richard A. Seagrave, M.D.
Dr. Seagrave is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in
sports medicine and knee surgery. He completed his training in 1982 at the
University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and then completed a
fellowship with the Blazina Clinic in Los Angeles. He specializes in
surgical care of all types of activity-related injuries. He is one of the
founders of St. John’s Sports Medicine. Dr. Seagrave is the head team orthopedist at
Missouri State University. He is also a team physician with the
Springfield Cardinals. He practices at St. John’s Sports Medicine and St.
John's Clinic-Orthopedic
Specialists.

Scott McMurray, M.D.
Dr. McMurray is an orthopedic surgeon with a clinical interest in
sports medicine. He completed his MD at Vanderbilt University and his
residency at Tulane University in 1987. He cares for all types of
activity-related injuries. He serves as a team orthopedist at Missouri
State University and practices at St. John’s Clinic-Orthopedic
Specialists and St. John's Sports Medicine.

Thomas Kelso, MD, PhD
Dr. Kelso is an orthopedic surgeon with a clinical interest in sports
medicine. He completed his MD degree at the University of Maryland and his
residency with the Naval Medical Center in 1998. He also has his PhD in
exercise physiology. He cares for all types of injuries and has a special
interest in shoulder injuries and treatment. He serves as a team
orthopedist at Missouri State University. He practices at St. John’s Clinic-Orthopedic
Specialists and St. John's Sports Medicine.

Victor W. Wilson, M.D.
Dr. Wilson received his medical education from Saint Louis University
School of Medicine in 2001 and completed an orthopedic surgery residency
with the KU Medical Center in 2006. He recently finished a sports medicine
fellowship with the University of Cincinnati/Wellington Orthopedics. Dr.
Wilson serves as a team physician/orthopedist at Missouri State University
and practices at St. John's Clinic-Orthopedic Specialists.
