Health Facilities Review Committee today approved
St. John’s to purchase the IS2000 da Vinci S
Surgical System with high definition. The system is a minimally invasive
robot-assisted device providing surgeons with an alternative to both
traditional open surgery and conventional laparoscopic surgery.
