Hospitality House
Lodging can be expensive for patients and family members of
patients, so St. John's offers a solution through our
Hospitality House.
Lodging is free for
out-of-town patients who are scheduled for early-morning
hospital procedures the next day and wish to stay overnight.
Single and double rooms are available at $15-$20 per night so
family members can stay close to their loved ones in the
hospital. Parents of Pediatrics or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
patients pay $7 per night. Hospitality House is available only
to those who live outside Springfield. Check-in is between 3
p.m. and 8 p.m. and check-out time is no later than noon.
A limited number of rooms
are available to family members on a day-to-day basis.
Outpatients and A.M. admits to St. John's receive first
priority, so family members must call Hospitality House at
417-820-2102 to check daily availability.
Services include wake-up calls; kitchenette with free
coffee and tea, refrigerators, microwave, toaster, blender;
washer/dryer
and iron/ironing board; hallway showers and restrooms.
