New physicians join St. John's Clinic
October 2004
Mark
A. Woods, M.D., joined St. John’s
Clinic-Ozark Aug. 23. He received his medical education from the University of
Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock in 1999. Woods completed his
residency at the Northwest Arkansas FP Residency Program in Fayetteville in
2002.
Michael
Growney, M.D., joined St. John’s Clinic-Rolla-OB/GYN Sept. 1. Growney
received his medical education from the University of Kansas School of Medicine
in 2000 and completed his residency at Greenville Hospital System is Greenville,
SC this year.
Cynthia
J. Brooks, D.O., joined St. John’s Clinic-Internal Medicine-Smith Glynn
Callaway Sept. 20. She received her medical education from the College of
Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery of Oklahoma State University in 1989 and
completed her residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Consortium in
1993. Brooks comes to St. John’s Clinic from Stormont-Vail Healthcare in Topeka,
Kan.
Weldon
James, M.D., joined St. John’s Clinic-Lebanon-Family Practice Sept. 15. He
received his medical education from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn.
in 1999. James completed a family practice residency in 2004 at the University
of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City.
Heath Morgan, D.O., joined St. John’s Clinic-Internal Medicine-Smith
Glynn Callaway Sept. 27. He received his medical education from Kirksville
College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997. Morgan completed his residency at the
Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va. in 2002. He comes to St. John’s Clinic
from Bremerton Naval Hospital in Bremerton, Wash.
Joan
Tomanek, M.D., joined St. John’s Clinic-Imaging Specialists Oct. 4. She
received her medical education from the University of Colorado School of
Medicine in Denver in 1992. She completed a diagnostic radiology residency at
the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1996 and an ssteoradiology/musculoskeletal
radiology fellowship at the University of California-San Diego in 1998. Tomanek
comes to St. John’s Clinic from Litton & Giddings Radiological Associates, P.C.
in Springfield.
Patience
Onuoha, D.O., joined St. John’s Clinic-Hospitalists Oct. 1. She received her
medical education from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999. She
completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Medicine and
Dentistry of New Jersey in 2003.
