 St.
John's is committed to being a just health care system - one that is available to
everyone.

In our fiscal year ending June 30, 2007, St.
John’s provided $16.2 million in charity care and $48 million in unreimbursed
Medicaid services.
¢
An
additional $12.9 million was provided through community outreach efforts and
$3.6 million in educational programs and research.
¢
Our
Foundation for Community Health funded $1.8 million in aid and grants for
activities that improve health and wellness, both inside and outside of our
health system.
All combined, our community benefit for the year was $83,091,224.
