    Jan.14: New Year, New Chapter (0-3 year olds)
    For parents of children 0-3. Learn the important changes that are being made in the First Steps program and how they will affect you and your family. Also learn about the resources available to you from the Child Care Resource and Referral program.

    Feb. 11: Ready to Work (Middle school, high school)
    Come learn about Springfield Public Schools'BASE program, which gets kids involved in real-world work experience while attending school.

    March 10: Government Assistance Programs (For all)
    Learn about the public assistance programs that are available for your family and your child. We will hear an explanation of the Greene County programs including Medicaid and the Disabled Children's program and we will hear from the federal SSI program. This session will be invaluable to learn what is available to you and if you should even bother applying.

    April 14: Midwest Special Needs Trust (For all)
    Come take a look at the Midwest Special Needs Trust. This program is unique to Missouri and is another alternative to consider when planning the financial security of our children.

    June 9: Medical Issues and News (0-3 year olds)
    Robin Troxell, U of MO genetics counselor will discuss the most recent medical research and to answer your medical questions.
