Nurses Week 2008

National Nurses Week – May 6-12 – coincides with the remembrance of Florence Nightingale’s birthday.

Southwest Missouri Nurses will host an educational workshop, dinner and awards program May 6 at Highland Springs Country Club in Springfield to celebrate nurses’ dedication and commitment to health care. Area professional nursing organizations are encouraged to utilize this platform to recognize their “nurse of the year” or “clinical excellence” service recipients.

The attached flyer will serve as your registration for the workshop, the dinner and awards program or both. CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: Southwest Missouri Nurses sponsor the Florence Nightingale Memorial Awards, which are presented at this event annually. Nominations are being sought for these awards which honor unique contributions nurses make every day in their area of expertise. Any practicing RN is eligible for the award. See the below nomination form.
