¢ What Can I Expect At My
   Next Appointment?
Due to the large size of our organization, the new system will be installed in our clinic offices and hospitals over the course of the next two years. St. John's Hospital will implement the EHR in three phases, with the first phase scheduled to begin in December.

You may notice a few changes when you visit our clinic offices beginning Feb. 1 for our Ozark and East Kearney offices and March 5 for all other offices, as we begin installing the billing and scheduling components of the new system.

St. John’s appreciates your patience as our staff becomes familiar with the new computer system. In the early stages of the system, clinic staff may need to refer to prior systems to look up certain information, or ask you to answer questions that on your next visit will already be a part of your permanent electronic medical record.

We recommend that you arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to your appointment, and bring your driver’s license and all insurance and prescription cards.

will my billing statements change?

Your billing statement will be essentially the same format and content as the one you may have received previously. The only significant change will be for those patients under the age of 18, whose balances will be combined on to one statement with their designated guarantor.

Patients age 18 and older will continue to receive their own individual statement.  As we work toward resolving the outstanding balances from our old billing system, you may receive two statements, one from the new system as well as one from the old system.
